The Buffalo LinkStation Mini 2.5 is the first Compact Network Attached Storage (NAS) in the world using 2.5"" hard disks. It has up to 60% lower power consumption than our 3.5"" product. Its small size, fanless operation and low noise makes it an ideal storage solution for anywhere in your home. Auto Power on/off function enables the LinkStation to turn off automatically when you shut down the last PC or laptop with installed NAS Navigator software. With Web Access feature, you can access your digital library simply, and from anywhere. The built-in DLNA-CERTIFIED™ media server (Twonky version) allows easy playback of multimedia files to any DLNA-CERTIFIED™ device. With the direct copy function, you can simply copy multimedia files from any USB connected device to the LinkStation Mini. For access security restrictions, You can use the internal user and group management features or domain users in an Active Directory.
